We found funky photogaphers by pure luck! Trying to find a wedding photographer we both liked was very hard, as you don't really know what you want until you see it. When we saw Funky Photographers website, we both knew that they had an edge which was missing from the other photographers sites, and there was a real sense of fun and originality in the photo's, which is what really appealed to us. After emailing Hannah once or twice, i had already made my decision. It was like talking to a friend i'd known for years, and she immediately put me at ease. When i met her and spent an hour or so going over the plans for the day, i couldn't have felt happier. On the day of the wedding, and after having a few crises which included hair and makeup, Hannah turned up, and literally became one of the girls, helping me get ready, being involved with the arrangements, as well as snapping away and capturing the fun of the morning. During the service, we weren't really aware of her, even though she managed to sneak onto the Alter and take some amazing pictures of the congregation, and then during the 'posed' photo's afterwards, she handled the crowd brilliantly. Having already taken a list of certain group shots we wanted, she made sure we didn't miss any, and managed to get group shots which we hadn't even thought of. She made it alot of fun, and had everyone laughing and feeling at ease. Again, at the reception, we weren't really aware of her, and it was only when she came over with the slide show that we saw how many pictures she had taken, the best of them being the natural shots of guests unaware. Someone told me that the most important thing on your wedding day was not the dress, not the flowers, but the photographer. You forget all the other things that you spent so much time worrying about, but the photographs you keep forever. When we look at our wedding pictures, we re-live the day. They are so precious to us and our families, because of the fun and pure joy our pictures display. The ones of us in hysterics, of our guests chatting and laughing, and the smiles throughout. They truely capture what the day was like. We couldn't be happier with them.

We have just looked at the photos & they are GREAT! As you said there are some especially good ones - We laughed at lots of them. Thank you so much again for all the hard work you did on the day. You made it so easy for us & the pictures are just excellent.
 

We had the most fantastic day of our lives & both really enjoyed having all of the photo's done, you both made light work of it and really made us and all of our guests feel at ease. We just can't get over how quickly the day went, before we had a chance to take anything in, it was bed time. . . . I want to renew our vows so we can do it all over again, although I wouldn't change a thing!
I hope you both enjoyed not only taking pics but being part of our wedding. Thank you again for everything, I didn't appriciate just how important it was to get a good photographer for a wedding, but from the moment you arrive on friday it was clear to me that you was indeed one of the main factors which made our day run so smoothly and helped our perfect day be absolutly flawless!
